When we announced the release of LDC Task Template Collection 3.0 last fall, we noted that we would soon "retire" the outdated "2.0" and elementary "Beta" task templates. Since that time, effective use of "3.0" task templates has skyrocketed, while use of older templates has greatly declined. As a result, we're ready to "retire" the older task templates.
To prevent use of these obsolete resources—and to make room for potential new task template collections—we have removed all "2.0" and elementary "Beta" task template collections and the student work rubrics associated with them from the LDC.org website and LDC CoreTools. Please note that any existing modules created with these task templates will not be affected in any way; however, no new modules can be created with these task templates going forward.
